But God
I survived what was thrown at me.
I survived my poor choices,
my emotional decisions,
and the environment that tried to break me.
Life happened.
But life does not get to name me.
Life called me broken.
Life called me my mistakes.
Life tried to bury my destiny beneath my pain.
BUT GOD!!!
I cried, but my tears became seeds.
I burned, but I was not consumed.
I sat in the ashes, but I refused to die there.
And now God is giving me
beauty for ashes and joy for my tears.
“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”
Psalm 126:5
What I thought was lost,
God is about to restore.
What tried to destroy me
will become the testimony that God kept me.
I am not my ashes.
I am not my mistakes.
I am not what happened to me.
I am proof that the fire did not win.
It refined…
Something is coming.
Something heavy with healing.
Something born from the ashes I refused to die in.
This is not survival anymore.
This is restoration.
Psalm 126:5 | Isaiah 61:3
